Objects with a human trace

Craft that keeps the marks of making.

Brassnclay brings together pieces shaped, hammered, cut or finished by hand in Morocco. We look for balanced proportions, tactile surfaces and materials that become more personal with time.

The result is not factory-perfect sameness. Fine changes in tone, texture and pattern are part of the object and make every piece quietly individual.

Material language

Four materials, four kinds of warmth.

01

Brass

Luminous and reflective, brass catches both daylight and the glow of a lamp.

02

Copper

Warm in tone and expressive when hammered, copper gives daily objects visible depth.

03

Bronze

Rich and grounded, bronze brings a calm architectural presence to bathrooms and tables.

04

Clay

Soft, sculptural and tactile, clay balances the shine of metal with an earthy surface.

Light and surface

The object changes the room around it.

A cut brass surface becomes a pattern of light. Hammered copper gives a still bathroom a warmer rhythm. Clay softens reflective materials. We select pieces for what they do to a room, not simply how they look in isolation.

From material to home

A slower, more considered process.

01

Choose the form

Proportion, use and material are considered together so the object feels useful and balanced.

02

Work the surface

Hammering, cutting, forming and hand-finishing leave small traces that give the piece character.

03

Review every piece

Finish, dimensions and availability are checked before dispatch timing is confirmed by the studio.

Natural variation

No two finishes are exactly alike.

Subtle changes in hammer marks, patina, colour and silhouette belong to handmade work. Product photographs show the overall design faithfully; your piece will carry its own small variations.
